The Legend of Zelda may be an old video game that was made a long time ago, but I still love it. My grandmother got me started on playing video games when I was two. First, I used to play Sonic and Donkey Kong on the Sega64. I always watched my grandmother play Zelda when I was little and I thought it was coolest thing in the world. Over time, she bought more of the series and I learned to play them. We have books for at least most of the games, one was trashed and had to be thrown away, but we have several others.
I also saw the old cartoon in a RedBox. My mother rented it for me and when I watched it with my family in the living room, we were cracking up. The laughter only kept going during the entire thing. It was hilarious, though! My uncle couldn't stand how they made Link look against Zelda. He couldn't tolerate the usual "Well, excuse me, princess!". Just writing it makes me laugh! The Legend of Zelda is an old game that I hopes never stops, because I want more games to play and find things out in.
I'm the queen of finding out the weirdest things in this game. I'm the one in my family that figured out that if you hit the chickens enough in Twilight Princess, you become the chicken! I even found that if you sky dive in Skyward Sword, these multicolored, flying squirrels will make a ring around you if you catch them. That's all the stories for now, but I might post more in the future.

Today in second period, a boy brought up a topic that I could only think of as a conspiracy theory. I'm not sure if this is right or not, but it's still interesting to me. He said that it seems like three of Tim Burton's movies play into each other. First he said that the dogs were the same in the Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie, which is not true. He also stated that the boy in Frankenweenie is the younger version of the boy in Corpse Bride. Again, it can't be because these movies were placed in different time periods. Finally, he said that the young man in Corpse Bride becomes Jack Skellington, which could be true, but seems very unlikely.
I don't think this is true, but I could be wrong. Also, if you've never seen these movies, I suggest that you do. I don't own them, they do belong to Tim Burton.

As you all know, I have to do a puppet show in Science. It's very interesting with what my team came up with for our animals. Basically, we're walking down the street and something while Moose, Kevin, scares  Ladybug, Ranpreet. That gives us all a chance to say our adaptations. Green Sea Turtle, or Turtle or John, and I, Beaver or Brianna, both have that duo/loner feel to us in real life and the puppet show, at least in my opinion.
We have several songs to choose from for our animals dance, but don't have one yet. I'm pretty sure it's going to be "Why Can't We Be Friends?" by an unknown artist to me. I was so freaked about being sick yesterday, though, that I went to John and asked for the script. I crammed as much of it as I could into my brain within thirteen minutes and have twenty minutes to rehearse in class. I honestly hope I can remember this...wish me luck?

My Winter Break was awesome! I got to be lazy, stay up all night, and use my new laptop to my heart's content. It was fun for me because I got to type the day away while listening to music from various genres and artists. I went to my grandmother's house for Christmas in Lemoore and enjoyed it.

I got a new-to-me refurbished laptop for Christmas. My parents decided to be mean and wrapped the laptop in a box for clothes and put various other things in the box the laptop came in. The laptop is a Dell and it has a coating that helps keep the screen from breaking as easily. My dad also gave me new headphones to go with it.

At my grandmother's house, I watched plenty of Christmas movies with my aunt, dad, mom, and of course, grandmother. We watched a movie called "Christmas Oranges". It really tugs on your heartstrings. We made triple c's, or Chocolate Chip Cookies, and had barbecue for Christmas dinner. It wasn't the most traditional Christmas, but it was still a memorable one.

Classic books are books that were written a long time ago, like Little Women or Black Beauty. For the next two quarters, I h ave to read a fiction book, a nonfiction, and a classic or an award-winning book. I chose to read Little Women because it was the first book that I thought of. My mother said I should have read it before, but I never wanted to, it just didn't seem interesting. Now, over Christmas Break, I'll read to keep up with my Reading Counts. It's a little ironic, since the books starts at Christmas.

So far, it's a good book, just like my mother said it would be. My mother also said I'd be Jo, a tomboy girl. It's actually true, I'd never want to be like the other girls. It'd kill me to actually do chores like knitting, sewing, and cooking. I don't even know how to cook!

Japanese anime is a style of cartoon that, like its name states, comes from Japan. It's very popular in the U.S. as well though. Many Japanese anime's have female heroines. There are still the male protagonists, so get worried boys. Some Japanese anime's include, Pokemon, Naruto, Naruto: Shippuden, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Inuyasha.

My absolute favorite Japanese anime has to be Naruto. The main character is a boy named Naruto who has the nine tailed fox inside of him. Most people are afraid of jinchuurikis, people who hold tailed beasts inside themselves, because of their demons or beasts. Naruto's dream is to become the Hokage, the leader of the fire country, and, despite the odds and negative feelings around him, he tries his best. I won't tell you the ending, though, you need to go find that for yourself.

Sonic the Hedgehog is a classic game that was one of the games on the SEGA 64, I still remember playing it when I was smaller. I know that I used to be so into Sonic, I wanted one of the hats that looked like his head, but I grew out of it. This is the really weird part, though, I was just surfing the internet when I just felt like making a Sonic character. Soon enough, I started to type a story about this character and everything. It was really weird because it just happened out of the blue.

I call my character Sky, just for her eyes. She's a brunette with sky blue eyes and tan skin. She's fairly tall and good looking, as well. She's athletic, spunky, stubborn, but kind all the same. She can be a prankster and a geek at times, but is still a good girl. She's pretty smart and can think of a way out of any situation pretty fast. She's also in several sports, including track. Ironic, huh? She's easily the best member on any of her teams and plans to get a track scholarship so she could go to college. I know that she's not a hedgehog like Sonic really is, but it's one of those real world-fiction world crossover stories.

My school is having a cookie dough fundraiser. There's this one prize that I want so badly.... an inflatable gaming chair. I'm desperate for it. It looked so cool and if anything, I'd be able to plug my mp3 into it. I really hope I sell enough for it, but so far its not looking good. I only sold about ten boxes.

Then, there's an iPad with keyboard that's one of the prizes, too. It looks super cool and if you haven't noticed, I'm a tech savvy child. I want to be able to have that so I wouldn't have to argue wtih my uncle over the laptop all the time. It's getting really annoying.

This upcoming Monday, my school is letting us wear our favorite sweats (sweat pants and sweat shirts). I'm so excited! I get to where my old school sweatshirt! My favorite of all time! I'm looking forward to it, and just can't wait! The sweatshirt has a
wildcat, the mascot, and EBCA above it. I love this sweatshirt so much! I still wear it around the house when I'm cold. I'm happy, yippee!!!

For the past few weeks, my father as been in a nursing home, but he's finally getting back to the house! My mom should have taken him home this morning. He should be at his computer, waiting for me to come in and fuss over him, or in his bed, waiting for the same thing. I honestly hope my father is feeling better. Otherwise, I know exactly who to talk to, my mom. She'll then go speak with the nursing home, and so on. My family can be very protective of its members. I can't wait to get home to see my father, its going to be a blast! I hope he's feeling okay to play the Wii with me. If anything, we'll do what we normally do, I'll be on the computer, and he'll be sleeping on his bed.
