Okay, so today in Explo Tech we did a practice experiment. We were using a Newton Sled and it's very fun. You have to wrap a string around a rubberband so that the rubber band is like a slingshot. You place a wooden block in the rubberband and you then set the string on fire. The string should put the part that holds the rubberband on fire as well and burn it, releasing the rubberband and shooting the block out. I forgot to mention that you need to use these little wooden sticks as a road. The Newton Sled should roll on the sticks. It was fun until i burned my finger on the string. I licked my fingers, but it didn't put out the string.

Science is one of my favorite classes! Right now we're learning about the lab equipment and doing experiments with it. It's awesome! The most interesting parts were when we did the "Flowback" experiment and the "Egg in a Bottle" experiment. It really is cool! Mr. Kirste is a fun and good teacher to have, at least to me. I don't really have any trouble in Science. Nothing in Science so far is that hard to understand.
